Hi all...I converted one of the Masters of the Chapter to a Librarian. The blues were mostly grays with blue glazes between layers, with a little red, brown, and purple. I also used this mini to practice freehand on. I'm getting better at painting minis, but still lacking in the freehand department, so this little excercise was a good practice run. I'll be entering this one in Chicago for 40K Single model...just for grins.
C&C are always welcome!
40K Single - Honorable Mention
This is nice considering I dropped him the day before, and he busted into 8 pieces. Even without the 'mishap', he was not top-3 material...the winners were off the charts!

Harok 26-Jul-08 #265740 | | Rating: 9 That's a great conversion idea. I like the subtle gradients on the blue areas, and the NMM gold is good. The book, cape and staff look great too. The banner could use a little bit more contrast though.
Good luck at GD! |
demonherald 16-Jul-08 #264887 | | Rating: 9 sod for grins this is a great job and a serious contender at Chicago from what I have seen previously.. Lovel blue tone and a nice not too busy conversion.. nice one indeed. Maybe just a little tightening up of the banner freehand especially the parchment piece.. | |
