Yet another entry for Chicago GD. I've been working on this one for the entire year. I started green-stuffing the model the day I got him last year, and realized he looked suspiciously like Paul Sr. from Orange County Coppers. I was originally going to title the piece "WAAAGH County Choppuz", or "WAAAGH Kustum Choppuz", but that was a little too blatent for the Demon judges, and would have been rightfully disqualified. Hopefully, the visual juxtaposition is enough to get the point across!
The grot in the foreground was converted to hold a paint brush, and the grot on the bike is adding a freshly looted cannon to da boss' bike.
The bike was scratch built using the core of a Chaos bike.
I hope you like it, and C&C are always welcome!
The model was 'politely' disqualified, as they tracks on the rear of the bike were non-GW parts. I did make the final cut, but after they noticed that, they set it aside. So, who knows what would have been! Congrats to the very deserving winners on some stunning pieces!

demonherald 24-Jul-08 #265605 | | Rating: 10 I'll give a 10 for keeping the IG symbol.. makes it feel even more looted.. I've always been a believer that Orks who loot weapons wouldn't change any iconography to Orky symbols as they appreciate the fu of sticking it to an enemy with their own weapon.. again good luck your putting together some really nice entries... |
Fade 13 24-Jul-08 #265568 | | Rating: 9 Cool man......too cool. I would have given you a 10, but the IG symbol on the gun kinda stood out to me. Maybe replace it with a suitably orky totem or something. As a whole though, one of the best ork minis that i have ever seen. good work and good luck in chicago. | |
