The Treekin are made up of deadwood that has been gathered together and animated by small faeires called spites. These treekin are lead by an Elder, which is represented by an extra arm on the right side , sculpted from scratch. The Empire Mortar lays rusting at his feet, and the bones of it's long dead crew are entangled in the reeds and branches. I wanted these models to be crawling with spites and other small details because I found that the Treekin models themselves were rather poorly concieved and sculpted.
