This is my first attempt at painting a mini - it was a bit too small for a first figure I think but I'm not unhappy. I need to learn how to blend properly for sure though.
Rating: 5 Not bad at all for your first attempt! Great creepy looking skin colour, and nice highlighting on the red. Pretty good job photographing, too. I almost marked this a 6, but the mould lines are pretty severe in places and the base also. Though I completely understand that you're just getting started and working up to things!
Rating: 6 For a first attempt this ia actually really good. The first thing that jumps out is the unfinished base. Second, a thin line around the parts where the flesh touches the cloth/metal will give it a little more distinction too. Be sure to check out the articles and the forums.
