This is one of Sebastian Archer's (Automatons) sculpts, and I have to say it has some excellent detail. Well worth getting hold of if you fancy something a bit different. They are available from the CMoN shop or from Seb's own website.
Guild of Harmony
Anyway, that's enough free advertising. I decided I wanted to try out a sort of monochrome effect for the figure and chose green, mostly VMC gunship Green and VMC Dark Sea Blue. With just a hint of red in some of the bronze metallics and the pupils of the eyes. Similarly the base also carries on with the green tones and the carpet is there for a bit of contrast.
The stairs were actually the first time I'd used plasticad to make some elements for a base and it seemed to work quite well, so I might try some more interiors later with chairs tables and braziers or the like.
Thanks for looking

PrawnPower 07-Nov-08 #274668 | | Rating: - Thanks for all the feedback, I have to admit that the stairs aren't quite so red in real life, and I've just noticed it almost matches Seb's avatar (Just needed a touch more yellow), at least, until he changes it again . . . |
