Death Company Space Marine

I had a blast painting this figure - the first marine where I have really put in a lot of work. I have tried a few techniques for making scratches on the armour. Among these is masking and another technique where the paint is added using a very small sponge. On the base I have also used MIG pigments to add extra dust effects. Great stuff.

Really nice. Stark maybe you just need to take a closer look. IMO this is not high end tabletop but much above it.

Fantastic weathering effects, but still the mini looks crisp and sharp. I simply have to give a 10 to balance out the jealous 7´s.

Seriously I have been playing this game for over a decade and I have NEVER seen an army painted to this standard. This is a very well painted model and is far beyond any conventional gaming miniature. Fantastic mini.

ok i apologise, advanced tabletop you could probably paint this whole thing in a couple hours...its a really nice high end tabletop piece, but come on a 9? for edge highlights and a bit of weathering?

This is way more than table top. You need your eyes tested! This has weathering highlighting and lots of fine detail, a cracking piece of work. Maybe you should find out what "table-top" actually means.

Awesome work, very realistic and not over the top in any way; the is really one of the ebst examples od black armor I´ve seen in quite some time; the neat base elaborates it to a full 10.

10! The mini IS great, I hope my own DCler will get a similarly style. I like the weathering, and the shoulderpads frame in metalcolour. The only thing displeasing me is the base, it's to big, but maybe it's a standalone mini for your show-case - that's o.k. than.
