TJeffers 26-Jan-09 #282112 | | Rating: 10 This is the BEST bolt thrower I have ever seen. It may even be the best war machine I have ever seen. |
mattrock 15-Jan-09 #281155 | | Rating: 10 Probably the best bolt thrower I've ever seen. It's just so shiny and mean looking. I love it.
Would love to see it crewed though... |

@ Dubayouth: you're right, the NMM theorie isn't right on the whole mini... but as long as the illusion works, there is no nead to change it
@ hellkid: if a bolt thrower would get in a close combat, it would get destroid: that's why I decided to let it clean: it was never attacked directly! |
RichardSimons 15-Jan-09 #281062 | | Rating: 9 looks very nice and cleanly done.
@dubayouth: imho, the nmm was done right. on FLAT metallic surfaces, the light reflects differently. doing a blended highlight on the top half of flat surface instead of the lower half would have make the flat surface look curved or even cartoonish. |

karmaiko 14-Jan-09 #281010 | | Rating: 9 Awesome job, great use of colour! |
Hellkid 14-Jan-09 #280994 | | Rating: 8 a bit of battle damage would be good |
Dubayouth 14-Jan-09 #280965 | | Rating: 8 Many of the highlights seem to be in the wrong places. Well painted, but not as realistic as it could be. I think that that is often the problem with nmm. Great try though. I would give a ten if it seemed as if the lighting were realistic. Some of the darkest parts are showing where the light is directly hitting it and some of the lightest parts are showing where it should be darkest. Otherwise this is awesome! |
