This guy started as one just to knock the rust off my painting fingers, but I ended up liking him so much I finished him out. Metallics were fun to play with (using Automaton's fantastic tutorial) though photographing them's a lot harder than photographing NMM, I found . The symbol on his chest and back is all freehand, as is the faux-writing in the book and the mosaic on the ground (which was done out to be tiled patterns of the Crusader symbol). All in all a pretty fun piece to paint.
