The Light from the jar in his hand is so subtle... transitions seem to have different properties then Acrylics... It could be the thing I was looking for in order to explore and improve Textures...

SK4TE- when painting oils in 28mm I find it best to thin them down alot (which is very different from the way its done on larger models apparently). I think the thinners take a lot of the shine off anyway, but the model has also been varnished with Testors Dullcote.
Demonherald- I'm doing a quick tutorial on oil paint for 28mm. I'll pm you when its done if you like. I'd love to see what someone with your talent could do with them.
