This was my only entry for Games Day Baltimore 2009, a five man unit of Night Lords chosen veterans. Aside form the Draco model which was metal and unconverted, the rest were done with plastic CSM parts. I also used some fantasy bits from the new plastic Grave Guard, Empire Flagellant head, a Marauder banner, and a little green stuff. They took me far too long to paint (I started Draco, the first, just before GD last year). Blues are a mix of regal blue and rotting flesh, w. a little brown. Metals are done w. real metallics. I was very fortunate and managed to win gold with them against some very tough competition. Hope everyone enjoys, and thanks for looking.

Congratz on gold it was well earned. Great colour contrast and quite smooth colours too. A lot of detail but not overcrowded.

i like the cure of the details and the tone of blue you have used, also the standard is spectacular. it's a good choice to paint the swords green and some other little details in red, it's create a great balance in the whole diorama. good work | |
