My single miniature entry at Reapercon 09, earned a gold! The sculpt caught my eye a while back and I just had to paint her. Lovely model, a real treat to paint, though I wish the swork were a little more slender an elegant to match her better. There are many hidden gems like this in the Reaper Range, I recommend I decide to have fun with Purple and used to color to shade every element on the model except the sword for which I went with a hint of blue instead (purplem didn't work!)
If you do not know about Reapercon, you should really consider attending, it's a great gathering of passionate hobbyists celebrating the hobby and hosting painting and sculpting ourses, regardless of what you like to paint. Reaper is a very unique experience, I highly recommend it!
The name is a wink at an excellent painter I like to consider a friend, Angela Imrie, whom I asked to name this model as I had no idea. I threatened to name her Angela if she did not come up with a suitable name; take a guess if her answer was satisfying...

Vhaidra 31-Aug-09 #301853 | | Rating: 9 Really beautiful. I think all those purples and blues work very well together. Face is awesome and also the freehands at her pants look very clean and regular. The sword could need a bit more contrast and some more basework would have been nice. Great job I like her a lot | |
