Old Predator made of scratchs.
I have tryed to make tank after years of service for UM chapter.
Full of rust, old paint, without changing motor oil.

Colur is so bright because it`s washed out 
The fluff:
Tank used to be ultramarine blue - by during time and after many battles it get washed out. |

I think that1guy's rating is not fair. I mean, I don't really like the conversion too, it looks sort of odd, but cmon shouldn't be about what you like or dislike, it should be about how good the conversion and paintjob is - As I said, the conversion is not my taste, but you made it very good, and that's what should be rated. Also, the rust effects are excellent. The blending of the blue tones is not bad, too, although I think it's too light blue for Ultramarines, but that again is a taste thing. I'd love to see some more details on that mini, like perhaps Chapter iconography freehands and stuff like that, and maybe some details painted in red or yellow just to break up the overwhelming blue. So, overall, I'll give it a 7 + an extra point to round up that unfair rating from that1guy

Interesting tank. I'd only wonder why the painted areas would look so fresh next to such extreme corrosion. But overall, not at all bad. |

Why it`s not accepted as predator?
Imagine 200 yrs of struggle, sun, rain, salt and dirty ork hands without conservation.
And second - it`s old mini, made of 2 rhinos, two parts from predator, some foam, and old german tank+plasticard.
Ultramarines are not always clean and sexy.
Do u always paint marines like they came straight out from academy, clean and bright?
But it`s ur opinion (no fair I think) but thanks for comment

Thanks - rust is made of sand glued with PVA, covered black ink, than scratched with modeling knife and finaly painted skin wash.

When I look at this it looks more like the cultist assembled AT70's manufactured with in the sabbath system. Dan Abnett describes them in his 4th Gaunts Ghost's book. If you were trying to make one of THEM and it wound up looking like this... then I'd rate you an 8, easy! I just can't look at this and accept it as a predator. |

well looks like nergl to me good rust you put paches in the armer shets of metel coving a hole or two like the cew fixed on the run and old window scen can mack paches well just add to the decreed destest look well thanks WKJR | |
