Hey guys, I finally managed to take some decent pics of my version of Elvis. i instantly loved this sculpt when I found it on the homepage of Andrea Miniatures. I have never seen another painted version of this miniature, what I can hardly understand. It was such a pleasure to paint this guy.
After a quick search on the internet I came upon this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZEaFj2Xg9Vo
I decided to paint the miniature according to the clip, in black and white. It took me about 9 hours to paint Elvis himself, but something seemed to be missing. After a short break and a coffee I simulated the effect of a stage light, what turned out quite nice, I think. All shadows on the miniature are painted, I didn't use the flash on my camera. I hope you like this guy.

There are one or two things where the sculpting could be better but that has nothing to do with your excellent black and white painting. I love the shadow on the ground.
