Hi again!
This is the completed piece i posted as a sculpt a few days before (pic no. 233875)
As promised there, i completed the sculpting i did previously with a different driver, added the carts´ banners (this banner has even become my favorite part…)made some reins and so on.
These changes made the piece as a whole better, I think.
The paintjob was quite simple: as disgusting as possible!
I resticted myself at the cauldron, however, as I wanted not to overload the dirty- and slimyness
of the whole piece, and because the metallic nature of the cauldron would not have been obvious enough. Compensation was done on the worms and the Lord, as they got a dose of extra ugliness…
The whole piece is mainly sculpted, I used some few GW-plastic pieces however, making the whole detail-business a lot easier…by the way I LOVE those helmets (especially when I cut those Horns off…)
I would be absolutely glad if you take your time to let me know what you think.
Thanks beforehand
and
Happy Painting/sculpting to you all!

Captures the spirit very well, and the paintjob matches the sculpting work!
Great piece... |
Thantor 15-Oct-09 #305487 | | Rating: 10 I'm not a great fan of Nurgle, but this scene seems like an illustration of john Blanche. So, in my opinion, it deserves a 10. Congratulations. |
Primeval 14-Oct-09 #305477 | | Rating: 9 Great work as always - I enjoy your conversions. The slugs/worms and the cauldron are disgusting, as they should be! |
Cfoolhu 14-Oct-09 #305471 | | Rating: 9 Fantastic! The maggots are brilliant. Things of a Nurglesque nature aren't really my bag (I aligned with Slaanesh decades ago) but that chariot is lovely. Well done! | |
