Lord Commissar for my Imperial Guard. The only thing to note about this miniature is my attempt to improve my skills in painting black. I´m quite pleased with the result but I think on some spots (especially on his cloak) it could be brighter.

The blending on the black is nice and smooth, the key seems to be very sharp, bright highlights on the fabric folds so I'd say just use a little more pure white on some of the sharper creases and you'll be there. Nice crisp paintjob. | |
