The yellow came out a little flat looking because of the flash. In person the color transitions are much more subtle. Some of the deeper shading also appears rather washed out. So Im not a professional photographer.

In reply to questions: not including the jewles, this took about 75 hours to paint. It is not airbrushed and there are more than 15 layers of color in most places. The jewels took another 10 hours because there is somewhere near 75 of them.

Superb job on the blending! I admire your patience... 75 hours in one model is something I simply could never do. 20 hours converting my GD entry Inquisitor model has driven me quite insane... 75 must have been hell. It's worth it though!

The yellow is not completely lost... I've seen a comparable one and it was complete crap in comparision to this awesome piece!!

I know what you mean about the flash burn/washout on the yellows. I would love to see this in reality. Hows about some detail shots on the Black 'flame' effects. Overall V.G. Eldar tank killer.

Hey, I'm not saying airbrushing is easy. I've been doing it for over 10 years and I still run into difficult situations. It's just easier to get the effects like that which are shown above. Once again, great job!

What is with this preconceived notion that airbrushing is easy? I've never understood that... anyway, a superb paintjob.

If this isn't airbrushed, then I'm quite impressed. Those pulsars look great!
