I've been a fan of Riglud and his Armoured Orcs ever since the old days of the Fantasy Regiments of Renown.
I also enjoy a little genre crossing now and then.
So, next up is the warboss of my up and coming Armoured Ork army. Complete with Looted Rhinos, Battlewagons and Gunwagons. Oh my...
Many people have used this model as the basis for conversion. Some have also come to the conclusion that the Black Orc banner pole make a nifty head. But what makes Ruglud more special than all of those others?
Quality.
Not from my paint job, lord no. There are many Mega Armoured Orks out there with better paint jobs. No I mean High Quality parts.
Ruglud is not an Ork to scrimp on good parts. He has the best Blue anodized hydraulic Rams that teef can buy. They're filled with the best fluid. (you can tell caues it's squirtin' out of those rams). And that red paint... man he's the FASTEST Mega Armoured orK this side of the Pecos!!!

I think he looks fantastic! The metallics on the claws could use some more depth but you have definitely nailed down the "flaking painted metal" look for the rest of him. And the details are great too, like the frayed hose on the left arm - it's very realistic. Overall, he's super-orky! |

You hgave all the small bits painted up. Thats great because allot of people don;t paint the underside parts, just the over armor. | |
