I don't paint half-way as good as JH, but here's some tips for you folks.
As you can see, JH is highlighting based on a lightsource, not just highliighting the edges of the armour plates. You can see the highlight on the arm and powerfist.
Other then that, very carefull, thin coats over a white base.
JH's main strength appears to be a good artistic sense. She's working well with composition and lighting. Work on that and you will be more like her.
