Hello Everyone,

It's been a very long time since I've had a chance to post here ... real life has seriously got in the way of letting me have any fun. Recently, I decided it was time to start trying to enjoy my hobbies again and picked up Hostile Takeover from Zotz (sculpted by the ever-talented Marcus Deleo). The story in my head for this piece is set in a dark and run down future where our femme fatale must enter an alternate reality in the form of an ancient, evil goddess to save mankind.

In an attempt to create the proper atmosphere for this fantastic piece, I built a fairly substantial backdrop. The center piece of the backdrop is my re-paint of a Giger pre-paint statue LI II (who plays the role of the ancient goddess). Throw in a big plastic cylinder filled with fake water, some plumbing fixtures, a bunch of tubes and wires, a hunk of shelving with a metallic flooring pattern glued on, and you've got the piece I call Desperate Measures.
