This was my Warhammer Single Miniature entry for Golden Demon UK, 2003. I was really pleased with the way this guy turned out, especially the green swirls! And the candles worked a treat - HOWEVER, I was too nervous to try and attempt in-model lighting!

I got through to the finals, but didnt quite get a trophy! But the silver and bronze were two of the guys I travelled up there with! So I dont mind too much! :^)

I love the cloak, which I'd give a 9. Those swirls look great - maybe a washed out version on the inside too as it look a bit bare. Lovely pose

Absolutely cool. Saw it in GTXV, liked it there too. These are much better pics, but I still would like to see something more on the inside of the cloak.

Wonderful mini, though I still don't get what those candles are doing in the middle of no where

This a very nicely presented model, which bumped it up a mark for me. The green swirly cloak looks pretty good but maybe looks slightly flat, and I think the sword blade doesn't look very interesting. Other than that, I can see why this stood out at GD.

Nice, very nice. However I have to agree with Rachel, the eyes are a little pupiled, still I luv the cloak and well done making it in to the finals! I'll have to play with the big boys next year! Jake

I agree, the cloak is really impressive. I also like his hair, but I think the eyes are a little large-pupiled which makes them look more like cartoon eyes. The candles are really cool (although I'm not sure what they're doing on a rock? Maybe someone has a gothy landscape architect ) Overall very nice/

great mini, I like the base, but my favourite part is the pattern on his cloak - really impressive!
