Another old Warhammer Quest mini I did up for practice, and my first real base! The yellow blob on the rocks is an arrow shaft, to make it look like someone is shooting back at him. I had finished the skin before Temperance posted his helpful hint on my snotling to highlight green up with yellow. I did know enough to highlight the dark red up with orange, at least. ;-> I know the colour selection is a little enh, but I was excited to try two new paints I had. Guess he's just a night goblin with poor fashion sense. I went for a more subdued level of highlights than on my previous efforts.

The red cloth is pretty dirty and flat and not as well painted as the rest of the mini (the green's nice and smooth). I noticed that your browns usually look better than other colours. Any idea why that is? | |
