This was a very painful figure to paint. There were not many nooks and crannies, I was just stupid enough to attempt NMM on everything!
The shapes in this figure should have been interesting, but instead they were just a nightmare. I had just bought some new brushes, which I thought might make my life easier. It was not wise to break them in on something like this

Mytola 27-Jan-04 #71278 | | Rating: 9 You have to bend the upper bow-limb a bit. It should look like the lower.
Nice paintjob! |
Magobaku 21-Oct-03 #57884 | | Rating: 9 great work!i finished a mini like that last week and i didn't have the courage to paint it with nmn teqnique!the gold is superlative while the cloack isn't at the same level in my opinion(i don't like a lot the red brown color at the bottom lof the cloack)anyway great mini |
tentoone 21-Oct-03 #57873 | | Rating: 9 Wow, that gold is super polished. Superb job on such a small mini. The blue of the cloak and the staining is excellent also. |
Temperance 21-Oct-03 #57865 | | Rating: 9 Wow, very very nice. My only concern is that it's on a fairly large base (looks like 40 mm square?) which pretty much makes it unplayable in the miniature game, correct? But a figure of this quality makes me wonder if I'd ever actually use it in gaming. I'm not sure if I'd want any of my ham-fisted friends to touch it! Again, very nice job. I like the varied rocks on the ground, the armour is perfect, and the mud-stained cloak is a nice touch. | |
