Rating: 9 Oooh. I don't think you could blend with complimentary colors, you'd just have brown. There's some spots where its' layed on fairly thin it looks better though. looks awsome.
Rating: 6 I had a great first impression, but the yellow highlights really need to be blended in if they're going to work. I've never seen that, though, highlighting with the complimentary colour. It sounds like it shouldn't work, but it looks like an idea with potential.
