This was a practice LOTR mini for a local painting contest (the Heroes of the West set). I tried a little different technique for doing the "ring" base, which I do for all of my LOTR minis these days. It had been so long since I had last used regular metallic paints!
All of the off-white colors are different. Some are warmer, some are cooler. GW Graveyard earth was very handy on the end of the staff.

Rating: 9 Beautiful job. I really like the way you painted around the base. The white cloth is very realistic looking with amazing shading and highlighting. White is the most difficult color to paint for me.
