This model was originally intended as an entry for the last Chick Challenge 2003, but despite my efforts I just didn't get her finished in time. Looking on the bright side, I didn't originally have the column she is now based on, which I think looks a lot nicer than having her on the ground. Again, the column is one of the new ones from Rackham. I made the vines from wires and just twisted them around the body. The leaves are cut out of paper and painted. Damn thing took almost as long as the figure itself! It's taken me a long time to pull my finger out and get motivated to complete a model. I hope you enjoy her as much as I do. Thanks for looking

Really cool . The base is great, especially the leaves. Overall, it's a grand paintjob, I'd have liked larger pics though... Bah, I suppose I can get some when you finish your next one  . |

Thanks for your kind comments. It's a bit embarassing really - I look at the date I posted this fig and now its October  Still no 2nd Eclipse. I have started her though and another column too, so I'll pull my finger out and get her finished  Thank you all again... |

The paintjob is really great: smooth blends, great choice of colors and most important: a fantastic base!
