The conversion work is elaborate and the painting is well-executed, but the composition is crowded and confusing. The same precision and attention to detail applied to a more deserving model and better composition would definitely earn a higher score. Still, 8.4 is nothing to sniff at. I'd love to score over 8 more regularly.
