I tried to take my time on this guy, going much slower and painting more patiently. I'm super pleased with the results, especially the flesh (they say the Big Orks are darker, and I shot for a dark, dramatic skin tone). You can't see from the pics, but there is a kroot skull on the back of the rock.

I like the model a lot, bu thte angle of the sot makes the choppa look a little too far out. I know that this isn't really true. Anyways, great job. A little flashy for me. When painting orks I like using a natural scheme, but whatever. |

Normally I prefer a more mottled skin tone on orks and such, but thats just taste. Your skill is great I like the foot just off the concrete. Just one question, where did you get a kroot skull? Or do you just mean a head? |

This is very good. Nice blending on skin and a very nice base. Good scaling and basing a flatfooted mini on the angled concrete adds dynamism. CMoN in general is a crapshoot. On the other hand, this is the reality of putting your work on display. you get good with bad. |
