Sadly I cant take full credit for this masterpiece - this model was sculpted by Mike (Babylonia on CMON) and only painted by me! This is a one-off piece as I have painte dthe green and no casts were made. It was a pleasure to paint and is one of my favourite paint-jobs to date. I guess its not really a 'GW' model (apart from the dog), but being Bretonnian, I thought it appropriate to put it here!

Another great mini. The thing i particularly like about this model is the realism to it. The palette you chose really emphasises the sculpt. The base is also amazing work on it's own. The flesh tones giving that sort of ruddy hue to his face makes him look genuinely cold!!!!
Kudos to Mike for the sculpt. Having been priviliged enough to do a masterclass under him i know how good that guy is!

Cool job, Peter, but to play a nitpicker, I must tell you that the hair could be done better - it looks not natural enough for me. More like a cap/har of wool than hair. Except for this it's a great piece, full of character and almost telling a story. |

Yep, I like this a lot. The sculpt job is great (espeically the face - it looks like my old flat-mate!). The yellow works well with the blue and the blending on the cape it very smooth. The base is also very apt to the overall feel of the mini...or, at least, that's what I think. Armour is good and I like the fact that he's carrying a fish...more people should ;-) |

that's wonderful! i love the overall look of this knight, the smooth blending and the base too! i have no criticisms this time, i just like it as it is!

You should put "other" or "scratchbuilt" as the manufacturer - no point in giving GW credit for Mike's (excellent) work! | |
