This is my first painted miniature from the French company called Rackham. The miniature is for their own game called Confrontation. I think it is great miniature.
The miniature is slightly larger than Warhammer miniatures, it is 30mm scale. Anyway, I measured it next to the new Dark Elves from Games Workshop and they are about the same, so maybe even GW is switching to 30mm.
On this miniature I practiced blending technique, and I was not so successful on the overcoat, but I was on the parchment.
I also tried for the first time the NMM technique (non-metalic metal, painting metal with shades of grey for white metals, resp. shades of yellow and brown for yellow metals) and I quite like it, although I need more practising and this mini had only small pieces to be painted as metal, no large areas.
I drilled a hole into the barrel of the gun, for more reallistic look.
