Two youngbloods from my previous Mordheim warband. These are two minis that I have painted in winter 1999/2000 (just after Mordheim game was released) so you can't expect these to be the quality I do today.
About the "flat faces", not shaded and highlighted. Well, they are slightly shaded and highlighted, but I kept with the idea of them being youngbloods, young persons, that usually don't have wrinkles yet. So it is intentional they are not highlighted and shaded much.

I agree with you that wrinkles are in appropriate on Youngbloods. However, you could make their cheeks rosey. It will give some depth and you can keep with the theme. |

Duende: that's because the "girl" isn't a girl, silly. Those are definitely boy-parts as you so eloquently put it... Anyway, nice pair of unique figures, good for PC's I imagine! |

The paint job is good but the models themselves are blagh. Geez, the girl has a horse-face and looks like she's got boy-parts in her pants (trying to state it nicely). | |
