this is my free-hand painted banner for my french golden demon entry 2004.
I put this pic because here you can see better than in the other pics.. I took that idea from the petethemighty boromir's shied.
I hope you like it.
the draw was done in 1,5 hours.

You made the picture too wide and it got shrunk, tell me if i'm not right, but in my screen real size is not even half inch wide, and not even an inch high... if i'm wrong and that is the real size you are GOD.
The banner is amazing, it's a beautiful design and very vell painted, just few touches separate this lovely standard from perfection:
The fire is not phisically correct (you must start from yellow-white and fade to dark red upwards 8hope i'm right), also the expresion of the demon is like he is fearing the fire and not the avenging angel (yeah, i'm very picky), also, the leg of the archangel over the demon is not well defined, it looks like it's it's left leg, but the robe makes a wrong effect, makin look like it's her right leg... quite strange... also the lance is not totally straight. Also the robe of the angel is not well painted at her abdomen.
apart from those little details the banner is outstanding, the wings are great and the clouded landscape lokks very real, ... i wonder how you managed to paint this, and I can't believe you painted and converted THE WHOLE DIORAMA in only a week, this must mean you were maybe only a day (or less) for this banner... that is what really makes me hate you  .

I saw this work in real and believe me is exciting!! has been painted in few more than a week!! you have an enormous hidden talent - When are going to deciede to kick the rest of the ST?? When ever you deciede you wil! no doubt.- IMPRESSIVE SKILLS!!!!!!!!!
Un poco más de paciencia...... y el trabajo sería irrebatible, sin oposición, (hablamos de este estilo de pintura, q yo creo q no sé hacer, tendré q probar, pero reconozco su dificultad pq cada uno tiene un estilo, todos són tremendamente complicados si no es el de uno mismo) serás uno de los máximos exponentes de esta pintura en España en el Golden, Luis, Nano, van en esa dirección.... se le podría llamar escuela madrileña??? podría, creo q los chavales de BCN, van por otro camino... de y a mi, no sé si soy, Spanish, Francaise o Spaghetti carbonara, ja, juaaa, yo q sé, pero creo q hay dos claras corrientes hoy en día, Madrid y Bcn, por lo menos dentro del ST, y me atrevería a decir a nivel nacional.
A ver si te gusta el comment, tus aptitudes son enormes, Alfon, APRETA!!!!

k pacha cabroncete!! me mola mucho mas este que no el angel del azrael, muy muy guapo. las llams fallan algo, pero lo demas esta muy bien. por cierto, no se si es mi pantalla o algo, pero el "real size" es mucho mas pequeño de lo que era en verdad.... jje pintas muy rapido, y si lo haces bien esto es una gran ventaja bye alfon |
