hi to all!!!!!!.
this was my french gd 2004 entry. I did it in a week.
the face, the legs, the left arm, the hair and the demon (except the hands and the head from the cadia sergeant) and some details like the fire of the banner are made of green putty...
the purity seals are made of tin, the same as the banner. the weapon is made of plasticard.
it has a lot of plastic parts of other minis to complete the mini.
all the details are free-hand drawn
the banner resumes the scene idea, the emperor's vindictive angel defeating the evil chaos demon.
it passed first cut...in a really difficult competition, for me the best i have ever seen...so i am happy to know that the winners of my category were allan carrasco, benoit menard and mark tait...so you can imagine how much difficult it was.

please give me your comment..after i see the best golden demon in the history, i realized that i have to increase my level a lot so be half as good as the winners... so all your comments and ideas will be so much apreciate.

the freehand in the demon are incredible like the banner, love the skin tone, so good, the spanish team is really good 
only critiscism the red can be more work no??? but an incroyable work !!!

The banner is outstanding, and i think that is the worst of it, as it's the first thing you see and makes you have expectations about the rest of the mini, which is fairly done and very well painted, but does not match the level of the banner.
I don't like quite a lot of parts, the head of the inquisitor (too big and wrong expression), the main sculpture of the demon (maybe too forced, and the hair not well executed) and the base is maybe too grotesque... too much blood for my standards .
The painting technique is, as allways flawless (well, maybe I exagerate, but it's very good) but i think your rush made you make some things that do not fit... those heads on the demon wings are very vell painted and they must have been a pain to paint, but look grotesque.
I also find you still need a bit mor of highlighting on your NMM (but it might be the picture).
Nice job, hope i can see soon something you put more time on it (try not breaking your entries before contest... just kidding). |

q capullo...esta que te cagas el diorama y, aunque yo no sepa mucho (no te tomes muy en serio esto) creo que los comentarios de arriba tienen razon sobre la cabeza.....lo que mas me gusta es el estandarte y las alas de demonio....Y TODO EN UNA SEMANA!!! un gran trabajo, y si llegas a dedicarle mas tiempo....no me imagino lo que habria salido, jeje.Un saludo |

I still remember how do you did some parts of it, the last night before travel to france...banshee painting very fast and we were nervous because the flight to Paris was early in the morning...and finally you did a great mini for the time that you spent in it. uoooo |

Yes, I know banshee is my friend.. I recognise, but probably for this I AM USUALLY more critic with his minis than a person who do not know him. The mini has a problem and he know, the face is too big. But the composition of the mini is very nice. The idea and the enthusiasm that he made is amazing, The decision to make something, is the best characteristic that banshee has. The has a large way to walk but he has quality to obtaibn good results: he is young, he model good, he has good ideas, and the level of paint, ok,it is not perfect but i wish with his age painted and sculpted as well as he make. One great. |

After a lot of looking at this and another ones pictures I'm giving you a 9.... El resto te lo escribo en español, que nos entendemos mejor!! Creo que es un trabajo extraordinario, y más aún en el poco tiempo en el que lo has realizado O_O una pasada, pero, haciendote una crítica constructiva, ha sido precisamente esa rapidez la que ha hecho que tu trabajo no haya alcanzado la cota de calidad que te caracteriza... En cuanto a pintura, poco que objetar la verdad, el estandarte se merece un 11 por si solo, al igual que las alas del demonio.. lo que echo e falta, al menos en la foto, es un poco más de "blacklining" que de más definición a ciertas zonas (aunque claro, lo has pintado al estilo francés). Las otras críticas que te han hecho, respecto al dorado NMM (yo tampoco lo haría mejor que tú) y respecto a la cabeza, son ciertas. La cabeza, hijo no te engaño, es un poco fea la verdad, aunque entiendo (yo soy un negado con la masilla) que es muy difícil el hacerlo y menos en tan poco tiempo. Me encanta el halcón (es genial!!)y el demonio y esos detalles de calidad en el pintado a "huevo" (valeeee.... freehand..). Y eso tío, no quiero ser pesado: me parece una pasada de diorama pero la próxima vez, dedícale más tiempo!! Si haces esto mismo sin prisas hubieras arrasado. Como conclusión: me gusta mucho el pintado y la valentía (ole tus huevos!) que has demostrado al atreverte con cosas que no habías hecho nunca (esculpir, etc.) y el irte a la GD francesa. Lo que menos me gusta: l¡¡a cabeza de la inquisidora!! y el blacklining, al menos en la foto.
NOTA: Espero que no te importe que haya dicho lo que me gusta y lo que no, es solo para que mejores todavía más campeón y porque todos vemos en ti una fuerte promesa de la pintura! Un saludo |

i will explain why i do it in a week: i had another entry ( really cool I think...but i broke it..it was a pity...i was so depressed about it...but I decided to do something quickly to don't go without anything to the french gd..
about your comments:
about the head: yes it is a little bit bigger than the gw ones, but you have to notice that normally gw do big heads...not proportionate ones, but it is not an excuse.. anyway, it was my first warhammer size head of green putty, so I didn't have so much idea, I did it in 1,5 hours..next time I will do it in more time.
TO ASH: I don't take it like an offense, for me it is good to know your opinion, because what I want is to learn, so no problem, i prefer constructive critiques because i take notes of it and then I increase my level, so thank to you!.I didn't understand what you are explaining about this sentence "attachments float above teh cross....", i cannot understand it, sorry but my english is not so good..
about what you say of the demon, you are right but only in some muscles of the legs..the torso is sculpted...i done it in 1 hour, so quickly...that is why it is a little bit rough and i tried to pretend it with paint..but next time I will do it better..
but unfortunately i didn't have time enough so I paint the demon body and the left wing ( the one you can see better) in the last night before I traveled to Paris (nano on coolmini was there and he saw it, i did the wing in 1 hour).
in the end: thanks to all for your comment and I am waiting for more comments if you want..this mini is making me learning a lot...so I am happy, and i am not angry with anybody..I like to know your real opinion, and if you don't like something I prefer to know your opinion if it is constructive..so don't be worried about it.. and thanks for the critiques and compliments..
