Rating: 7 good technical painting, but a bit too "busy" for my liking. there are too many details fighting for attention.......and he's going to fall off that horse any moment now!
Rating: 8 Very brave of you to put up such close-ups. I think your freehand is excellent and creative. The only problem I see is that you might have been to enthusiastic with it. Some of the colours and patterns work against each other (the yellow/blue on the black/red on the purple/white with blue on the inside). Anyways, I love the blue and yellow on the horses neck (very Regal looking). Great job.
