rextalon 08-May-06 #177517 | | Rating: 8 I think your first attempt turned out really well. I also think the last person was really incoherent in thier attempt at the English language, so let me try to translate... The golds should fade to a more "brownish" appearance. Try using browns with your yellows to make the gold look more believable. BTW, I've always hated this sculpt because the officer looks too... "aristocratic". I always like the officer to look like he's a veteran who's seen the front line and been "deep in the sh!t" but you've painted really well, so maybe I'll stop hating on it so much. |

i think that the nmm gold is to yellow . i use fo nmm gold only three colors they are the best i think for nmm gold . they all from vallejo from the model color collection.
its goldbrown as basecode than you take smoke and mixed this witch matt medium ans ink witch this the area witch you have paint gold brown. than blend you witch goldbrown in the wet smoke . if it dried you take some bleached bone mixed witch white and mixed that more and more in the goldbron for acents . that is my favourite method to paint nmm gold i hope you test it and post the test here .
