Maybe just to glue the mini to the base after having glued the sand, that way there won't be sand on the feets. Keep painting and you'll be getting golden deamons when you're my age |
paintwidow 18-Oct-04 #106618 | | Rating: 5 Beautiful green, it's really eye catching. And like praetorian said, the brown ink on sand trick works wonders. I would suggest defining his teeth a little better since they are so prominent. The easiest way to do this would be to give it a thin black wash, then highlight the raised parts with white, avoiding the grooves in between. Keep painting, you have much potential! |

Fizl 10-Jul-04 #93176 | | Rating: 6 Looks like you have a good start here! I'd suggest fully covering the base with the sand and then painting it (may sound silly but looks more realistic than unpainted real sand). Keep going!
