Sheesh, these guys gave me a lot of trouble! First they won't prime right, then I can't pin them to the base, and then their arms fall off a half dozen times! (That's what contributed to the first falling over a bit and the last one's face looking a little weird.) Oh, well.. This is my first time with the cork bases, which I may use for my army from now on, but these guys were for Ebay so I just went kinda neutral drab evil with them. The gold is actually a olive yellow green and the highlight on the NMM is a pale green, reenforcing the river they live on. I could've pushed these more, but I didn't want to spend more than 3 weeks on them..

Actually, the pose of the first one isn´t so strange at all. He seems to be leaning in the wind - look at his hair and clothes.
Indeed only the second one does not fit in here - his hair seems not to be affected by the strong breeze, as the hair of the other two is - evil magic or extra strong hair spray ??? ;-)) |
