A resubmit with a digital camera instead of a scan. Too much Varnish made him glossy. I thought the markings on his face turned out real well though and gave him kind of a civilized wood elf look, though my friends said he looks more like Link from Zelda. The Anime look to his eyes wasn't the original intent but I can't say I'm dissapointed with the outcome.

I too have difficult with pictures coming out dark. The eyes look really good. They give the miniature character. I also think the tree on the shield is creative. The miniature does look feminine but perhaps that's just because of the long hair. I don't know if the color of the scabbard works for the miniature. Maybe shade it a bit so it's not just a flat sky blue. | |
