Rating: - Thank you all for the reviews...
just two answers:
- you're right about the horse, the sculpt has too much cavity and muscles ad I have used hard contrasts on it so it seems.... strange compared to the usual horses.
- no, I'm not about to enter it in the Lucca contest (an Italian contest) just ecause I have painted it fot the Italian importer of 1999 and it will be in their display case at the same fair... :o)
- about the details.. It's just a work of patience.. :o)
Rating: 10 Excellent job on this figure....especially the cape, I am one for fine details and this.... I is likin'! Great job on the rider too, lots of complimentary colours well blended. Excellent work!
Rating: 8 Fantastic basing, outstanding detail. This figure is one of those that I have to study because it is disturbing enough I don't want to look at it. The only real weak spot I can tell is the horseflesh. In contrast to the human flexh tones and the leather work and so on it is just the slightest bit off, it seems.. waxy, maybe? If the horse were not such a promanent part of it I'd pass over that. Still, OUTSTANDING work!
