Well, let's start with Ordo Hereticus.
The Living Saint is a really good mini and to convert it cutting the less possible (only the original base) was a real pleasure (i really hate cut metal miniatures). Infact the left leg is reconstructed over the original one giving a bent posture, i then added longer hair and length purity seal to gain heigth and adapt to the wings. The final touch is adding the shield to cover the bird in her hands and some purity seals to cover a part of the flowers in the sword .
The "wings of battle" are the plastic bretonnian pegasus wings with a resculted part, i then added some mechanic elements (expecially in the back).
All the conversion is clearly inspired to the art appeared in the Witchhunter codex (big closed wings, longer hairs and flame on the sword).

I don't think its too far fetched for someone (mechanicus?) to have added the wings to her 'costume' to make her more pronounced and fearful/inspirational on the battlefield (and given that the history of earth = angels and sometimes saints are able to fly and often have wings). I would think even being a saint she would need a jumppack, the wings are just there for 'show' Great piece, really fantastic, like your other work! |

Beautiful conversion. Only two things I don't like, one, the jump pack seems unnecessary witht he wings as someone pointed out, and second, the flor de lis on the front of the wing tips in unnecessary and out of place. The rest if fantastic! |

Another breathtaking piece!I love the long flowing purity seals they add such character when applied right.Beautiful wings,with the added bionics for extra zeal!And the flaming sword is right at home,a real treat,cheers mate!(Don one-solo mafia) |
