Still working on basic technique. I tried painting the front a warlock purple and the rest a scab red. I then used some ink and dry brushed a blood red. I tried to cover over a few of the places where the ink pooled, and where my brush was errant at places. The base was a singpe coat at the end, and a few errant strokes left some mud on his bottom.

Not too watery as you want it to cover up the bits of white you can see. Either the back scales or the belly could use a lighter drybrush (maybe some yellow in with the red) to distinguish the two different reds. | |
