Painted this to try and win a bolter round during the warlord weekend, im hopefull about taking one home. I did this model in metalics but didnt like the result as much so i tryed NMM and am pretty happy, let me know if this mini works.
PS, im adding this on to let you all know how it did in the comp. I took home the bolter round, and yesterday i entered it into the LA Conflict painting contest, I took 1st and "Overall Champion" :-] not to shabby is it?

I prefer this version of coteas to the matallic one (although I like metallics) as the armor indeed looks like dark steel, the kind of garment suited for a great inquisitor. The eagle also looks great, and it´s certainly not an easy sculpt to paint. |

Trey cool. Only one suggestion. The grey of the metallic parts are all the same grey. Try varying the color with a TINY amount of blue or brown. Good work. keep it up!!

Sure this mini works I think the NMM is just right gives it a slightly darker feel that is totally in keeping with the image of the inquisition. I also like the cyber eagle the American bald eagle style is very nicely done.I agree with the first comment a little bit of contrasting colour on the base would improve it butthat is only a minor point. |

good work, but i think thath the edges of the metallica parts (ex the hammer) should be pinted in pure white. |

I cannot see nothing wrong in this mini, i like a lot the highlights you've done and the chromatic choiche without stunning colours, the base is well done too, perhaps too much near the mini colours.
At this point i think it's only a personal taste matter.
