And here was me viewing some of your earlier NMM work.... This is leaps and bounds better than (what I'm presuming is) older stuff (such as the Spyglass ladies). Phenomenal and without going the blue/brown hypershiney chrome route (which can look out of place on some mini's IMHO) |

A clean, crisp and beautifully executed paint job here. Your choice of colour palette is well made..and produces a pleasing overall effect on the model. I particularly like the golden armour..your highlighting is especially effective here. The blades have turned out very well too...and I think these two items alone really make this piece outstanding. Im not overly keen on the very dark shadowing behind the chains on his body (particularly his chest) ...this looks too dark....and his claws could do with a few more washes...they look a little too bright..and would benefit from a little weathering.

Well that is some serious NMM armour! The whole mini comes together very nicely. A great and consistant use of colour harmony. One thing that stands out is the SENMM on the blades, It does look like a sickly thunderstorm cloud reflection. Nice work all round. |
