This miniature was painted for a client, along with the squad behind. He supplied him with a bigger base to make him stand out so I stuck him on the rock which is made of cork bark, this is the first time iv'e tried using bark and I think it looks quite good. I probaly spent far to long on this mini for the price I was paid, but I found it really enjoyable. I had fun doing the freehand flames (yes I know there the wrong way round) and text on his cloak (I felt the clock looked plain otherwise) and I also got to try the glowing eyes technique(thanks cyril). Anyway hope you like it.
