This is is my first attempt with the lighting effect. There are 3 sources of light:the first lantern is above the door, the second above the storage, the third on the table in the upper floor.I had a great fun tryin' to guess where the shadows exactly fall
Rating: 9 BEAUTFUL piece. What will really make the lights light up is to make more of the surrounding areas on the model dark. What makes light look bright is the amount of contrast between the lightest area and the darkest. Have the light itself be white or real light yellow. Have the immediately surrounding area a good step down in 'lightness'. and from there graduate down till you eventually reach black. Also as you get farther away from the lightsource have the colors get a bit duller. Look at the top image on the top ten list. see how dim the cast light is compared to the fire. Good Luck.
Rating: - Thanks guys,I'm very glad you like it!As I've just bought a new camera, theese are the only pics at the moment.Maybe in the future I'll add some other, maybe as display for other models.Infact this piece is born as displayer for Krill and his crew of goblin pirates.Stay tuned
Rating: 8 Ecezionale. wonderfull Idea. something you don't see every day. the lighting effect seems a bit off. it seems too bright. don't know how much is because of the photo and how much is real. Bellisimo, se metti una miniature davanti alla porta ti do un 9 sensa guardare.
