I'm starting to work on thining paints, and I'm generally pleased with the results. I need to work on the details still, but I'm going to have to go to the craft store and get the thinnest brushes I can find ... my brushes are way too large for detail work like the eyes and stuff. (And my brush seems so small.)

With one or two thin thin thin washes of brown ink or dark brown paint in the crevaces the faces could become much better. | |
