I really enjoyed painting this guy, and he has a fantastic steampunk look to him (IS steampunk fantasy or sci-fi?), which inspired me to be a little more daring with his hair...
Yup! A DWARF with BLUE hair! and no beard! I went for more muted tones with the rest of his attire - a sombre red and various dark browns. I was really happy with the red - I had used a mix of US olive drab and burnt cadmium red and highlighted by adding more burnt cad. red, bronzed flesh and then a touch of ivory.
I even used woodland scenics water effects on his base! As you can see, he is tiny - about the size of a tuppence! *grins*
