This one was alot of work very heavy to hold painting I painted the dragon pre assembled and the wrist did take some punishment but thought it turned out pretty well afterall. The wings soaked up alot of time to blend the way I wanted it.

This is a tough piece to execute properly, but you pulled it off.

Very nice execution indeed. Curious as to your decision to switch the green and blue heads, making the body red (supposed to be black) and some of the neck plates of the dragons don't seem to marry up to the rest of the body to well. Excellent blending, and I actually think the horns look ok myself. Those wings take the prize for me. For those not familiar with this mini, the wingspan is almost the same as that of the Balrog from the LotR line from GW, but these wings are solid pewter (as is the rest of the mini right down to the base), and with a torso with that kind of mass, yes this is a heavy mini to handle while painting, so vikinglodge I feel your pain. Also looks like you filed down the placard on the front of the base for the engraved edition number? You go with that artistic license! Again, excellent work.

Thanks for all the feedback, I put alot of work into the wings and heads and hence other areas had to be painted simpler was working with a time schedule. =)

Really great job on the wings, it looks masterfully done. I would have given this dragon a 9, but when I look at how you have painted the horns, it can only be an 8. The horns looks like you just have slapped the paint on them which is a shame, because the rest of the mini is painted to a much higher standard. Besides the horns, great job!

OWW, In my opinion the best characteristic of this mini is the clean of the colours the white head is simply amazing. Very good job.
