My comission work. I was sculpt this figure in more realistic proportion therefore it`s some larger(35mm) when GW prototypy from wich i get the torso and magazines & grenade. Think, colour scheme of eldar must be simply and i was use blue and gold. Armour and sword painting in NMM technique. Upper half of armour is polished gold, painted in SE-NMM, it`s lightened better than lower part of mini. Contrast between shadow low and lighened upper zones advisedly accented.

Well, the conversion/sculpt is a 10/10, but damn the painting just won't cut it... specially not for Yellow one...  I love the NMM, I can't possibly pull that off.. But the highlights are WAY too harsh, so harsh that it really looks bad... and the SE-NMM... I don't see it... not a sucess... Also the head is too human ( as said and you explained why, but that doesn't alter the fact that it's misplaced to have a human head on an Eldar!) Sum up: awesome sculpt, bad painting |

Nice paintjob but I don't like the face.
Not the way It's painted. It's more like that the Face itselfe looks like Angela Merkel.

The conversion is simply awesome. It's a pity that the blending isn't as good as it could be. If only the transitions on the gold etc were smoother; i think it's all about patience. A good solid 8 though, mostly for the conversion  |
