This model was a pleasure to paint as she was destined to be a Christmas present for my boyfriend, Avicenna. Unfortunately I didn't get her quite completed in time, but I finished her during the week between Christmas and New Year and she finally 'moved' to London today when Peter went home.

She is the first Darksword figure I have painted and I don't think I have ever painted a figure that was so finely detailed at 28mm. I used Avicenna's custom flesh-tone colour mix (patent pending!), which I think came out very well. My favorite part is her cape, which I am very pleased with - another chance for me to play with gold NMM on the embroidered motif.

The face is beautiful - the detailing is so tiny i was impressed that it has so much character! It looks really very natural and I like her a lot! Must be the best christmas present i got this year!
