It's a good =][= scale paintjob but with an excellent face! Congratulations on it. The overall paintjob is 1 step behind the face - I wish the whole miniwas detailed and highlighted so well. But isn't it a bit too glossy? |

I think (hope) that its just the photo creating the grainy yet glossy look to the model. But yes, it does have a slightly gloss/satin finish (GW 'Purity Seal') - I think a can (?) of Testors may well be a worthwhile investment! THX to all of you who have taken time out to comment! |

The face is excellent and very lifelike, but some of the aspects of the rest of the miniature are a bit of a let down. It seems to have a grainy aspect to it, but that could be the picture. The speckled/glossy nature to the red part of the coat on his legs are disappointing. I recommend a coat of a dullcoat/matte varnish -- the Testors Dullcoat is perfect. |

Jenova - I am just learning the art of miniature photography, so I understand where you are coming from
To the Almighty hive - it is GW static grass...! But glued it on before spraying the model black. From there I drybrushed it dark green and went progressively lighter to achieve desired effect. |

Well done. The face looks especially realistic. The main picture is a little over lighted but still the shading and highlighting look great.
